Arriving at the City

Upon arriving at the city the guards will attempt to arrest the party. The man from the ship Trenton Nobord will be sheepishly behind the leader of the The Red Sands - Edgar Forsworn.

Edgar is acting as steward for the Khayin seat in Leoras absence and is wielding sovereign powers to have the party arrested. He claims that the party commandeered the Sandship and killed many innocents (The Red Sands Members). He claims Trenton saw it all and that the two Sandsailers on the ship have testified to it as well. He expresses worry at what would have happened if Trenton hadn't foiled the parties 'plan' and implies he wishes to award Trenton for his brave service to the city.

Zoya Leyna will come to their aid. Having not been informed regarding the directives of deputies that were meant to be under her command. She will express outrage at what she sees as an abuse of power and a serious disregard for the laws and rules of Scorpions Rest.

However she will direct the party to follow the order without resistance heading to prison with promises she will do all she can to rectify the injustice and offer a fair trial.

She will falter in her resolve momentarily upon noticing Saydrin but will remain convicted. She will not put her people at risk nor will she over rule Edgar who has been charged with stewardship while Leora Khayin is away from the city.

The Arrest

The parties arms will be constrained with wrought iron shackles engraved with markings (Single Anti-magic Rune). The mages will watch carefully incase they are required to cast hold person/silence on the party.
